Artist, Graphic Designer, and writer Raaziq Masud is a recent graduate of Howard University with a degree in Human Development. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Interactive Telecommunications at New York University. Being a native of the Bronx, Masud’s exposure to graffiti and Hip-Hop culture fostered his appreciation for the arts at an early age. He is currently the CEO of art production company POPXTWO LLC, where he also serves as an illustrator and designer. With POPXTWO LLC, Raaziq has been able to publish his early digital artwork in the coffee table booklet entitled Visions and Thoughts Vol. 1. As an artist, Raaziq is motivated simply by the world around him – using shapes, typography, and the human silhouette to portray various messages. Masud aspires to use his art as a way to not only bring people together, but to also “alter the perception of the millions of people blinded by consumer culture and negativity”.
My name is Hulbert Waldroup. I am a New York artist. My art has been featured in a number of commercials and campaigns, both here in the U.S. and abroad. My controversial Amadou Diallo mural has been the subject of numerous news articles in major newspapers. My murals are in some of New York’s prestigious schools. I also do commissions.
I absolutely love to travel. The greatest thing about traveling is that it allows you to step out of your own orbit. When you are an artist that is important to your craft. Your visual plane becomes so much broader. I have had the opportunity to travel to a number of countries. I have met people from all walks of life.
I have a number of social web pages. I use them to display my art and upcoming events. More important, it is a vessel for me to develop a rapport with fellow artists & art lovers around the world. It is very cathartic to have dialog from different points.
